MIRA MESA CAMPUS

Preschool and Daycare in Mira Mesa, San Diego

The Mira Mesa campus of Early Learners Children’s Academy sits just off Miramar Road, a few minutes from the 15, which makes it straightforward whether you are local, coming down from Scripps Ranch or heading toward Sorrento Valley. It is also home to Munchkin Town, our indoor play town.

Munchkin Town

Munchkin Town is over 1,700 square feet of indoor play built as a small town, complete with a diner, a market, a gas station and a treehouse. Because it is indoors, a hot August afternoon or a gray June Gloom morning never costs them the chance to run.

It is a dedicated imaginative-play environment where children explore pretend play, practice social interaction, build communication skills, and experience real-world roles through play.

Pretend play

Children step into a little town of their own and make up the story as they go.

Social interaction

Taking turns, sharing the diner counter, and playing alongside new friends.

Communication

Ordering, asking, explaining and negotiating, all through play.

Real-world roles

Trying on the jobs they see around town every day.
